Holy Spirit Fall

OVERVIEW:

Scripture tells us that the Holy Spirit guides, teaches, fills, helps, empowers, and bears fruit in and through God’s people. Jesus even goes so far as to say that it is better that he leaves so that he can “send the Advocate (the Holy Spirit)” to us (John 16:7). But in spite of all this, many people wrestle with their relationship to the Spirit. We wonder how to tell when He’s really speaking and the extent to which He’s still at work today. We “walk by the Spirit” (Gal. 5:16), and yet we sense our relationship with God and our impact on the world could be deeper and greater. In short, there is infinite room to grow in our relationship with the Holy Spirit, and this fall at Grace Snellville we aim to make space for that growth.
